MITB Qualifying Match
Winner: The Miz
Highlights:
Paige comes out and hypes the crowd up before the match
Hardy looks for the Swanton Bomb but Miz backs into the opposite corner
Jeff Hardy runs and and jumps off the barricade and onto Miz
Hardy hits a Twist of Fate but Miz rolls out of the way to avoid a Swanton Bomb
Miz slams Hardy’s back and neck onto the apron
Hardy hits Miz with a Whisper in the Wind
Miz kicks out of a pin following another Swanton Bomb and rolls up Hardy for the victory
Opinion:
This was a really good match. Miz has been putting on really great matches lately, and I’m glad that is being added to the MITB match. Hardy has a title, so he can defend that at the PPV.

Charlotte vs. Peyton Royce
Winner: Charlotte
Highlights:
The IIconics cut a promo before the match, making fun of Charlotte’s disappointment after losing at Backlash
Royce sends Charlotte into the post outside the ring
Charlotte jumps over the top rope onto Billie Kay
Kay yanks Charlotte across the rope by her hair when the ref is distracted
Charlotte nails Peyton with a spear
Charlotte locks in the Figure Eight for the victory
Opinion:
Charlotte obviously deserves to be in this match. I hope Billie and Peyton get an opportunity to be on the MITB PPV too, though, because they’re great in the ring and hilarious to watch.

Xavier Woods vs. Cesaro
Winner: Cesaro
Highlights:
Woods jumps over the top rope into the ring and off the second rope onto Cesaro
Xavier hits a shining wizard to Cesaro’s jaw
Big E throws pancakes at Sheamus and Kofi runs across the apron and jumps onto him
Cesaro hits Woods with an uppercut as he jumps off the top rope for the victory
Opinion:
Xavier Woods has amazing in-ring potential and could be the breakout star of the New Day when their alliance comes to an end. With his charisma and athleticism, I could easily see him being a singles champion.

Becky Lynch vs. Mandy Rose
Winner: Mandy Rose
Highlights:
Before Mandy Rose makes her entrance, Paige tells her and Sonya Deville that Sonya is barred from ringside
Mandy debuts a new entrance theme and the screen blurs everything but her as she comes out
Lynch hits Rose with the Bexploder
Rose rolls up Becky for the victory
Opinion:
I love that Mandy got an opportunity as a singles wrestler. While I think she still needs some work, her gimmick is off to a great start. I like her as an Eva Marie-esque character—she should try and coast through on her beauty. The blurred screen was hilarious and the music was fitting.

Daniel Bryan vs. Rusev
Winner: Rusev
Highlights:
Rusev tosses Bryan over the announce table
Bryan locks in the Yes lock but Rusev grabs the rope
Daniel kicks both Rusev and Aiden English through the ropes
Bryan hits Rusev with a running knee outside the ring
Rusev hits Bryan with a Matchka Kick for the win
Opinion:
I can only hope that Daniel Bryan’s lost opportunity at being in the MITB match means that there’s another big opportunity for him at that PPV. I’m glad that Rusev is in the MITB match, though, because he’s been snubbed regarding PPV matches as of late.
